Horus Heresy Book III Extermination

The Horus Heresy information is now floating around on Warseer as well as other forums now. From Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors to the Mechanicum we can now get a look at just what these Legions will comprise of. So sit back because this is a lot of compiled information from all over.


Please remember that this is compiled by Navar, and mostly posted by Brother Garrod. This will give you a good idea of what is in the book, but may comprise of errors. So take it as rumored although for some lucky enough to attend the Forgeworld Open Day, the book is in peoples hands.

Iron Warriors
Legiones Astartes - may always attempt to regroup
Wrack and ruin - do not suffer morale tests from shooting attacks, may re-roll failed pinning tests, and all grenade and melta bomb attacks have the wrecker special rule
The bitter end- controlling player may opt to play full 6 turns regardless instead having to roll


Perturabo
Special rules:

Precision bombardment
Very bulk
Sire of the Iron Warriors - All Iron Warriors in the same army as Perturabo gain the stubborn USR
Relentless strategist -May start rolling for reserves on turn 1
Precision bombardment - Once per game may call down a bombardment
(May draw line of sight from himself or any friendly model with a nuncio - vox)
Range - unlimited - Str 9 AP 2 ordnance D3, barrage large blast (5") twin-linked
The logos - 2+ armor save, all cc attacks AP 2, immunity to concussive and blind, teleport homer, cortex controller, nuncio -vox, cognis signum
Perturabo and all iron warrior terminators gain deep strike.
Wrist cannon
Range- 24" Str 6 AP 3 assault 3, twin linked, rending.
[Forgebreaker - after Ferrus Manus' death, is granted the hammer by Horus. + Extra points to equip]

Sabotage - at the moment of entering play, sabotage attack is made, select a single unit or fortification, and may include independent characters which may be targeted if not part of a unit. Targeted unit suffers D6 Str 6 AP 4 hits if it has a toughness value, or a single penetrating hit if a vehicle.

No cover saves may be made against this attack
(Saboteurs may not be given terminator armor, jetbikes, bikes power fists, thunder hammer of boarding shields)

When fighting in said challenge, Imperial Fists may re-roll failed to hit rolls
Unshakeable defense - stubborn whilst in cover / fighting from fortifications and barricades

Terminator and terminator equipped command squads may deep Strike (points per model cost)

Prototype iliastus pattern assault cannon
Range - 24" Str 6 AP 4 heavy 4 rending, malfunction

Malfunction - if 3 or more rolls to hit of 1 are rolled, it jams, and cannot be used for the rest of the game. Models with the legiones astartes Imperial Fists or Legiones Astartes Blood Angels may replace heavy flamers in terminator squads with assault cannons

The stone gauntlet
Phalanx warders may be taken as troops choices
resolve of stone - any model with the Imperial Fists special rule equipped with a boarding shield who is in unit coherency with at least two other models who also fit this criteria gain a + 1 to their toughness. may not claimed if the unit the model is part of has either ran, charged or made a sweeping advance in the current player turn

Shield charge
Any model with the Imperial Fists special rule equipped with either a boarding or storm shield, who is in coherency with at least two other models that fit this criteria gain the hammer of wrath special rule

Limitations
Compulsory troops must be breacher squads
May not deep Strike, and any models that do may not be included in this force
Cannot take more elites and fast attack in total than they do troops choices
May only take a single consul with the exception of legion champion

The ravens’ talons
Any model with lightning claws may upgrade them to ravens talons, gaining master crafted and rending Special rules:

Infravisor
any character may take one, gains night vision special rule, however, the model and any unit it joins count as having an initiative of 1 when making blind tests

Camelioline
Any character may take, gains stealth special rule (may not also have terminator armor, jump pack, bike or jetbike)

Decapitation Strike
For whom the bell tolls- all Raven Guard units gain preferred enemy (independent characters)
Predatory Strike - controlling player may re-roll the dice to see who deploys/ goes first
Fure from above - tactical squads, veteran tactical squads, tactical support squads, seeker squads and heavy support squads may choose drop pods as dedicated transports
In addition, deathstorm drop pods may be chosen as elites rather than heavy support

Teleport protocols - when he loses his last wound, roll a D6. on a 3+ he teleports from the field, opponent gains not victory points for destroying him . in addition, roll for an explosion as if he were destroyed vehicle which had suffered an explodes result
Implacable advance - all friendly units from taghmata omnissiah roll and additional D6 and keep the two lowest for morale checks within 12"

oui on à qu'a se faire une journée peinture j'amène le coffret et on prend les photos, je ne veut pas passer les livres sur un scanner de peur de les abimer sauf si quelqu'un à un scanner mobile.
